November 18,2009 Wednesday Daytime Meeting

We will meet from 9:30am to 12:30pm at Forest Chapel Methodist Church -- at 680 W Sharon Road, Forest Part 45240. Popular watercolorist Sandy Maudlin will present what is sure to be an interesting and worthwhile demonstration. Have you ever worked with Yupo Paper? Here is your chance to learn more about this interesting paper and the unique looks of a Yupo watercolor. For starters, the paper is washable - permanence being a perpetual stumbling block for watercolorists, After Sandy's demonstration, there will be opportunity for you to create a Yupo masterpiece. Lunch afterward at Tri county's B J's is always an attractive optional add-on to the day. You will hear more about this meeting but DO SAVE THE DATE! (This is open to the public, guest welcome)

After Sandy's demo there will be time to paint on Yupo to try out some of Sandy's techniques. Bring the following items with you.

		. a flat 1" brush
. a spritzer or spray bottle of water
. a 3" yellow foam roller (from Walmart)
. a window squeegee with a rubber blade on it
		. a box of oil/lotion - free Kleenex
		. a water container
. any stencils or texture making supplies
		. watercolors or fluid acrylics
. palette & or suitable surface to mix on

Sandy will bring Yupo Paper for everyone who needs it,
